An alle, die meinen ja aber lasst doch die Kinder in Ruhe: wo sind eure Aufstände, wenn Kinder im Krieg sterben???? Wo sind die Aufstände wenn die Kirche oder irgendwelche Politiker junge Mädchen misshandeln???? Schaut dort hin wo es tatsächlich Probleme gibt: kein Kind wird gezwungen trans oder Drag zu sein.

Pride is more than a celebration. It is what democracy looks like 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
Every Pride gathering is about people coming together in public to stand up, be seen and
take part in their communities. That makes Pride a vital expression of one of our most basic
democratic freedoms: the right to assemble.
And when people come together for Pride, they help build the visibility, connection and
participation that strong democracies need.
Right now, this freedom is under pressure across Europe, from Pride bans and defunding to
rising hate and harassment. But attacks on Pride are never just about Pride. When
authorities restrict who can gather, everyone’s fundamental rights are at risk.

Cada celebración del Orgullo reúne a personas en el espacio público para alzar la voz, ser visibles y participar activamente en sus comunidades. Eso convierte al Orgullo en una expresión esencial de una de nuestras libertades democráticas más fundamentales: el derecho de reunión pacífica.

Cuando las personas se unen para celebrar el Orgullo, fortalecen la visibilidad, la conexión y la participación que toda democracia sólida necesita.

Sin embargo, este derecho está siendo amenazado en toda Europa mediante prohibiciones del Orgullo, recortes de financiación y un aumento del odio y el acoso. Pero los ataques contra el Orgullo nunca afectan solo al Orgullo. Cuando las autoridades limitan quién puede reunirse, los derechos fundamentales de todas las personas están en riesgo.

Yesterday at WorldPride in Amsterdam, I experienced moments that are difficult to put into words. Standing by the canals, sharing smiles, conversations, hugs, and simply existing together reminded me why Pride matters.

Seeing so many people show up—including political leaders like Rob Jetten—sent a powerful message: equality isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we choose to stand up for.

After the attack in Berlin and in a time when we constantly hear stories of hate and division, these moments feel even more precious. They remind us that community is stronger than fear, and that visibility still changes lives.

Pride is celebration. But it’s also hope. And yesterday, hope was everywhere. 🌈

Ich mache meine Arbeit nicht für Preise. Ich mache sie, weil ich daran glaube, dass Sichtbarkeit, Aufklärung und Begegnungen unsere Gesellschaft verändern können.

Hinter dieser Nominierung stecken über 10 Jahre ehrenamtliches Engagement – Workshops, Demonstrationen, Vorträge, Projekte, Gespräche und viele Stunden Herzblut.

Being nominated already means so much to me. Not because I do this work for awards, but because it shows that years of dedication, advocacy and community work are being seen and appreciated.

This nomination represents more than 10 years of volunteer work—organising demonstrations, giving workshops and talks, creating projects, supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, and countless hours spent working towards a more inclusive society.

Sad news from Poland.

Just months after Polish courts began recognizing same-sex marriages performed in other EU countries, Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal has now ruled that this recognition is unconstitutional.

In other words: if two Polish citizens marry in a country like Spain, Germany, or the Netherlands, Poland says that marriage does not have to be recognized under its Constitution.

The problem? This directly contradicts a ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union, which said EU countries must recognize these marriages for legal and administrative purposes.

This isn’t just about LGBTQ+ rights anymore—it’s also about whether EU law takes precedence over national constitutional law.

The case is likely to trigger another legal confrontation between Poland and the European Union.

Hass darf niemals die Antwort auf Hass sein.

Nach einem schrecklichen Anschlag ist es verständlich, dass Menschen Angst haben und nach einfachen Antworten suchen. Aber genau in solchen Momenten müssen wir besonders kritisch bleiben.

Wer glaubt, Parteien wie die FPÖ oder die AfD würden queere Menschen schützen, sollte sich ansehen, wofür sie stehen. Es sind dieselben Parteien, die unsere Rechte infrage stellen, gegen Gleichstellung arbeiten und Menschen in “normal” und “anders” einteilen.

Ob es trans Menschen gibt, ob ein Staat mehr als zwei Geschlechter anerkennt oder ob Menschen offen lieben, wen sie lieben – das nimmt niemandem Freiheit weg.

Was Freiheit wirklich einschränkt, ist eine Politik, die Menschen gegeneinander ausspielt, Minderheiten zu Sündenböcken macht und manche für weniger wert hält als andere.

Geschichte zeigt uns, wohin es führt, wenn wir zulassen, dass Menschen zu Bürger:innen zweiter Klasse gemacht werden.

Sicherheit und Menschenrechte dürfen niemals gegeneinander ausgespielt werden. Beides muss für alle gelten.

Es sind Menschen, die Hass schüren, ihn politisch instrumentalisieren und ihn so normalisieren, bis Worte zu Taten werden.

Der Anschlag auf den Berliner CSD erschüttert mich zutiefst. Meine Gedanken sind bei den Verletzten, ihren Angehörigen und bei allen Freund*innen und Bekannten in Berlin. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Wir dürfen uns nicht daran gewöhnen, dass queere Menschen Veranstaltungen unter Angst besuchen müssen. Wir dürfen Hass – egal gegen wen er sich richtet – niemals relativieren oder akzeptieren.

Lasst uns laut bleiben. Lasst uns füreinander einstehen. Und lasst uns eine Gesellschaft schaffen, in der Vielfalt nicht Mut, sondern Selbstverständlichkeit braucht.

If only words could capture the thoughts I have. I was not in Berlin today. But not only were so many people I know and love but it was unfortunately ANOTHER brutal, hate attack on the QUEER community.
I want to put something in words because I feel so many things: SADNESS, DEVASTATION, ANGER - but the emotion that will always have the upper hand is LOVE, HOPE and my THOUGHTS towards everyone in Berlin and everyone who feels just how I feel.

Watching the Spain 🇪🇸 vs. Argentina 🇦🇷 final left me thinking.

I don’t dislike football. I don’t dislike passion. What I question is the culture that sometimes grows around competition.

When winning becomes more important than respect, rivalry can become hostility. We see it in hard fouls, heated confrontations, and sometimes even in the behaviour of players or fans after the game.

Of course, competition can also inspire excellence, teamwork, and unforgettable moments. But I keep asking myself: how do we hold on to those positives without letting an “us vs. them” mindset take over?

I’d love to see more collaboration, more empathy, and more respect—on the pitch and beyond.
